We make every effort to ensure that appointments run on time, but unfortunately there can be instances where our doctors can be delayed. This can be due to a number of reasons including (but not limited to) attending to an urgent matter at the hospital.
Our doctors believe in providing a high level of care to all their patients and will therefore address as many issues as possible during consultation. This may potentially result in them taking more time with patients. Please feel free to contact our rooms prior to your appointment time to find out if the doctor is running to time, and we will try and provide an estimate as to when you may be seen. Appointment delays are always unexpected, but we hope that you understand that the doctor would provide you with the same level of care if you required urgent medical attention. What do I bring? For all appointments and enquiries, please contact the rooms. Consultations with our specialists are made by appointment only.
When attending your appointment, please bring the following:
FeesAll of our doctors set their own fee schedules. Patients will be advised of the initial cost when booking an appointment with the doctor. There are reduced fees if you hold a current pension or a health care card.
You will be able to receive Medicare rebates from your appointments with our doctors. We will send the Medicare claim on your behalf on the day of your appointment. Unfortunately private health insurance does not cover outpatient private appointments. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please discuss your current situation with the doctor. PaymentWe have a pay on the day policy. You can pay for your account by a number of methods including:
Cancellation policyWe require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation of all appointments. This will assist in allocating appointments to patients on our waiting list. If you are unable to inform us 24 hours prior to your appointment, please contact the rooms as soon as possible to inform us.
We reserve the right to charge you a non-attendance fee, which is not eligible for a Medicare rebate. |
